CLEVELAND, OH — July 24, 2006 — Expansion Management’s Chief Editor, Bill King, and Managing Editor, Ken Krizner, received ASBPE's prestigious National Azbee Silver Award for Government Coverage at the American Society of Business Professional Editors' (ASBPE) National Conference in Chicago.
The award was based on outstanding government coverage in three consecutive issues of a magazine. The three recognized articles were: "We All Pay for Procrastination in More Ways Than One" by Bill King (September 2005 Retrograde commentary); "Work Force Training Is Critical for Expanding Companies" by Ken Krizner (October 2005 cover story); and "2005 LEGISLATIVE QUOTIENT: Is Your State Keeping its Financial House in Order?" by Bill King (November 2005 focus story).
This recognition brings Expansion Management’s editorial award count to 13 so far this year from a variety of regional and national journalism organizations, and it matches the number of awards the magazine staff garnered in 2005.
