CLEVELAND, OH — June 7, 2005 — The editorial team of Expansion Management magazine continued its tradition of award winning excellence, receiving 1st place awards in five categories, including Best Trade Publication, at the Kansas City Press Club’s annual Heart of America journalism awards dinner held on June 4. In all, Expansion Management’s editors took home awards in eight categories.

Its editorial focus is to help growing companies evaluate future locations.

PUBLIC SERVICE — Gold Award (1st Place) to the EM Staff for its "2004 Military Communities of Excellence" special magazine, published in October 2004.
BUSINESS REPORTING — Gold Award (1st Place) to Managing Editor Ken Krizner for his article in the August 2004 issue entitled "Work Force Training: Providing a Competitive Advantage"
EDITORIAL — Gold Award (1st Place) to Chief Editor Bill King for his editorial in the December 2004 issue entitled "Should We Care That Johnny Can't Add?"
