Quality of Life Quotient
Now in its 8th year, the QLQ is not about opera, theater and poetry readings.
It’s about people being able to live the American Dream: a home of their
own, good schools, low crime, low taxes, etc. These are the communities
that offer the best quality of life and lifestyle for the average, middle-income,
hard working American. Given that, the important issue for employers is
how much it will cost them in salary and benefit costs to provide that
middle class life to their employees. At that point, it becomes an important
site selection criteria.
