Maker of Inspection Systems Opens New Engineering Center

Dark Field Technologies, an Orange, Conn.-based manufacturer of laser and camera-based inspection and optical metrology systems, recently opened a 10,000-square-foot engineering center in Orange.

The center houses laser and camera development and application labs as well as a glass-panel production line, according to the company. The company plans to install film and metal coil rewinders this summer.

Dark Fieldıs product line includes retro-reflective laser systems for the float-glass industry, and high-resolution telecentric laser and camera systems for coated glass, display films, display glass, electronics and semiconductor applications.
