The new site is in the Westchase District, a west Houston commerce hub known for its many technology and oil and gas companies.
“As a result of the growing need for wholesale food distributors to more precisely track the origin and destination of food products, and to manage their inventory more economically, our company has grown tremendously during the past five years.” said Henri Morris, president and CEO of Edible Software, a division of Solid Software Solutions LLC. “Acquiring our own building was the natural, next-step for us to take.”
Morris said that after purchasing the building, it underwent a complete wall-to-wall interior redesign and renovation with expanded space for the company’s support staff and software engineers. The new facility also includes a software-training center.
