Packers’ Chemical Relocates to Wisconsin

KIELER, Wis. (Nov. 4) — Packers’ Chemical Inc. is moving its manufacturing operation from Missouri to Wisconsin, setting up operations in a facility here.

The company will receive $65,000 in Community Development Zone tax credits to construct and equip the new facility. The total project cost is $3.4 million, and the company expects to create 27 positions at the facility.

Packers’ Chemical is a chemical blending manufacturing company that supplies the food industry with EPA- and FDA-approved products and equipment for production and cleaning.

The company was established in 1983 to make specialty chemical products for the beef industry and has since expanded in include various soaps and sanitizing products, cleaners, rendering products, inks and denaturants, defoamers and customized chemical dispensing equipment.
