The company, which supplies products to the automotive, marine, rail and heavy-duty engine manufacturing markets, will invest more than $6 million in its facility in Northeast Indiana.
The Southfield, Mich.-based company, which employs nearly 50,000 workers worldwide and has a work force of more than 120 in Avilla, will begin hiring additional manufacturing employees to accommodate the expansion.
“Federal-Mogul looks forward to increasing its presence and creating jobs in Avilla,” said Dawn York, plant controller of the Avilla facility. “We would like to thank the town of Avilla, Noble County Economic Development Corp. and the state for their support related to this expansion initiative.”
