Stirling Capital Investments announced it has completed construction on Global Access Business Centre, two Class A multi-tenant industrial buildings totaling 223,773 square feet at Southern California Logistics Centre (SCLC) in Victorville, Calif.
Adding to the significance of this announcement, five leases totaling 49,050 square feet have been executed, bringing Global Access Business Centre to nearly 22 percent occupancy.
New tenants that will occupy space are:
* Sequoia Lighting, a manufacturer of commercial lighting fixtures, signed an 18,529 square foot lease. The company is relocating from La Habra, Calif.
* Prego Inc., an apparel import and export company, signed a 13,067 square foot lease.
* PTL Electric, a local electrical contracting company, signed a 7,359 square foot lease.
* Stoody Industrial and Welding Supplies, a family-operated company that sells industrial gases and welding supplies, signed a 6,279 square foot lease.
* Product System Engineering, a high-end machine shop, signed a 3,816 square foot lease.
“Global Access Business Centre marks the first high-quality business space that caters to small- to mid-sized businesses in the High Desert region,” said Brian Parno, vice president of Stirling Capital Investments, the master developer of SCLC. “The majority of the new leases are with companies already in the High Desert region that have identified the need to locate within state-of-the-art space that is highly divisible with dock-high and ground level loading, 24-foot clear heights, oversized concrete truck courts and ESFR sprinklers.”
Global Access Business Centre offers Class A industrial suites from 3,500 square feet to more than 60,000 square feet. Some suites include move-in ready office space.
Upon completion, Global Access Business Centre is expected to generate up to 200 new jobs for the region.
