Hasler, Inc., a leader in mailing, shipping and mail support systems, has relocated to Milford, Conn., as part of a long-term plan for business growth and facilities consolidation. The move is expected to enhance internal communications and continue to improve operational efficiencies, which in turn will allow Hasler to improve its customer service capabilities.
“We’ve certainly enjoyed our many years in Shelton, Conn., but with the continuing expansion and growth of our business, there was a terrific opportunity to finally pull together our operations and take advantage of improved productivity and stronger internal ties that come with a consolidation like this,” says Hasler President and CEO, John Vavra.
The new location in Milford enables Hasler to bring together under one roof its corporate headquarters, with offices for its U.S.-based global research and development group and administrative operations that focus on logistics, warehousing and distribution, and financial services operation.
Hasler has been designing and producing high quality mailing systems for over 150 years. Founded in Switzerland in 1854, the company went on to manufacture the franking machine, which became known in the United States as a postage meter.
Today, Hasler has a major presence in North America with an extensive line of mailing, shipping and mail support systems. These include mailing machines, postage meters, folders/inserters, address printers, tabbers, mail sorting and tracking systems, and mail and document management solutions.
