The Missouri Department of Economic Development has approved state tax credits for $239,511 over a five-year benefit period for Ace Building Systems, LLC, under the Enhanced Enterprise Zone (EEZ) program. The credits will be utilized for a new facility located at 821 W. Wakefield Ave. The business operations at the project facility will be a manufacturing facility.
DED has reserved the tax credits for a five-year period based on Ace Building System’s projections for the creation of 29 new jobs at an average wage of $35,862 and new investment of $4.78 million.
The Enhanced Enterprise Zone program was implemented in 2004. Enhanced enterprise zones are specified geographic areas designated by local governments and certified by the Department of Economic Development. Zone designation is based on certain demographic criteria, the potential to create sustainable jobs in a targeted industry and a demonstrated impact on local cluster development.
