The Missouri Department of Economic Development has approved state tax credits for $51,008 over a five-year benefit period for Engrave-A-Crete, Inc., under the Enhanced Enterprise Zone program. The credits will be utilized for a new facility located at 403 North Oak, Mansfield, Mo. The business operations at the project facility will be a manufacturing and distribution facility.

DED has reserved the tax credits for a five-year period based on Engrave-A-Crete’s projections for the creation of 10 new jobs at an average wage of $27,040 and new investment of $1 million.

The Enhanced Enterprise Zone program was implemented in 2004. Enhanced enterprise zones are specified geographic areas designated by local governments and certified by the Department of Economic Development. Zone designation is based on certain demographic criteria, the potential to create sustainable jobs in a targeted industry and a demonstrated impact on local cluster development.
