The Paper Technologies and Ventures group of Hercules Inc. recently opened its new Shanghai Technical Center (STC).

“The Center will be the primary headquarters for the Paper Technologies and Ventures Group in Asia and underscores our ongoing commitment to provide localized customer services in this key papermaking region of the world,” said Paul Raymond, president, Paper Technologies and Ventures.

Hercules manufactures and markets chemical specialties globally for making a variety of products for home, office and industrial markets.

“The Shanghai Technical Center demonstrates the strong commitment Hercules has made to the continued development of our resources and operations in China to support this growing region of the world,” added John Montgomery, President, Hercules Asia Pacific.

Built adjacent to the Hercules manufacturing facility, the STC will also include a state of the art training facility and office space.
