Voss Automotive, Inc., a manufacturer of fuel lines and connectors for the international vehicle manufacturing industry, has announced it will expand into a new, leased 12,000 square foot manufacturing and distribution facility to be built at 7625 DiSalle Boulevard in Stone Pointe Industrial Park north of West Cook Road in Fort Wayne, Ind.

Owners of the new building, S&W Investments, plan to invest $800,000 in the expansion project, which will add 26 new jobs through 2010 to Voss’ current work force of nine employees. Construction will start in the fourth quarter of 2007 and is scheduled for completion during the first quarter of 2008.

Witwer Construction is the general contractor for the project. Bill Cupp of CB Richard Ellis/Sturges is handling the real estate transaction for the property owners and David Nugent of BND Commercial is representing Voss Automotive. The company is currently located at 5109 Industrial Road in Fort Wayne. That lease expires in early 2008.

“We are pleased that our business with U.S. and international vehicle manufacturers continues to grow at a healthy pace and is driving our need for a larger facility and more people,” said David Foltz, general manager of Voss Automotive, Inc. (www.vossusa.com).

Worldwide, Voss Automotive supplies truck manufacturers such as International, Volvo, DaimlerChrysler, IVECO, MAN, and DAF-Paccar; automobile manufacturers including Audi, BMW, DaimlerChrysler, Ford, Jaguar, Land Rover, Porsche and Volkswagen; and systems manufacturers such as Bosch, Knorr-Bremse, Delphi Automotive Systems and Visteon. Voss Automotive, Inc. is a subsidiary of Voss Automotive GmbH of Germany.

The City of Fort Wayne, through the Fort Wayne-Allen County Economic Development Alliance, is providing an incentive package to assist Voss Automotive with its expansion project. Potential incentives could include real property tax abatement of $97,903 on the new building. About Voss Automotive, Inc.
