Galaxy Visions Completes New Data Center in Brooklyn, New York

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (August 14, 2007) — The new data center can house over 25,000 servers.

Galaxy Visions has completed building a new, 12,000 square foot, state-of-the-art data center in Brooklyn, N.Y. The company is a provider of managed, dedicated, collocation, and VPS services.

Galaxy Visions has successfully migrated all of its clients to the new facility. CEO and President Ray Sidler said,

“The minute we saw an opportunity to move our operations to a bigger and more advanced location, we knew this was the right move not only for Galaxy Visions but all the clients that continually rely on outstanding service we are known for,” said Ray Sidler, president and CEO of Galaxy Visions.

“We have put great efforts in making this a state-of-the-art facility,” said Sidler. “We made sure that power supply and bandwidth is abundant, with great emphasis on efficient power management to handle the workload. In fact we spared no expense to professionally rewire the facility to ensure the power is delivered correctly. We have also obtained a lot of dark fiber to have unlimited connectivity options to a multitude of Tier 1 providers.”

The new data center can house over 25,000 servers.
