Bensussen Deutsch & Associates, Inc.(BD&A) recently announced plans to locate a new distribution center in Plainfield, Ind., creating more than 50 new jobs. The company, which provides marketing services and promotional merchandise to Fortune 500 companies and major sports leagues, will locate its high-tech distribution and order fulfillment center in an existing 150,000 square foot facility on the town’s east side.

BD&A plans to complete installation of logistics equipment at the site later this year with the site being fully operational by the first quarter of 2008.

“This modern facility adds the necessary capacity to our growing company and provides BD&A with the ability to take on more clients and add more services,” said Jay Deutsch, CEO of BD&A. “The Midwest Fulfillment Center greatly expands BD&A’s capabilities to expedite the delivery of brand merchandise and consumer products to our customers, resellers, and partner organizations and strategically positions the company for the next phase of growth.”

The company provides promotional services to global brands such as AOL, Bank of America, Dell, Eli Lilly and Company, ExxonMobil and FedEx. PROMO Magazine named the company one of the top 10 merchandise suppliers in the promotional products industry as well as the largest privately held sales promotions agency in the nation.

“We have worked hard to create an environment that fosters economic growth,” said Robin Brandgard, Plainfield Town Council president. “BD&A’s investment here is evident that we can compete successfully in the global competition for jobs.”

The Indiana Economic Development Corp. offered the company up to $160,000 in performance-based tax credits and up to $18,000 in training grants based on the company’s job creation plans. The Town of Plainfield offered the company property tax abatement worth more than $28,000.
