Kay Chemical, an Ecolab Co., recently announced that it will be making a multi- million dollar investment to expand its Capital Drive facility in Greensboro, N.C., to accommodate an industry-changing product line. The company plans to hire approximately 25 new employees and invest in new machinery and equipment over the next year.
Kay is a leading supplier of cleaning and sanitizing products used in the fast food and grocery store markets. Kay also operates Research & Development, Microbiology and Engineering laboratories for the evaluation and testing of new products.
“We are pleased to work with the Greensboro EDA as we begin this expansion,” said Steve Mosh, vice president and general manager of Kay. “We are committed to the Greensboro community, and we strive to demonstrate that dedication in the way we do business. We look forward to growing together.”
The Greensboro Economic Development Alliance worked closely with Kay by facilitating incentive requests and supporting the company throughout the expansion decision process.
