Daisy Outdoor Products recently announced the relocation of the company’s assembly operation to Rogers, Ark., from Neosho, Mo. Daisy, the world’s oldest and largest manufacturer of air guns, will hire 60-70 new employees at the assembly facility.

“This facility better meets our needs today and positions us for the growth we have planned,” said Ray Hobbs, president and CEO of Daisy Outdoor Products. “Having our entire team under one roof allows for improved communications and more cost-effective management of every facet of our operations.”

The 100,000 square foot facility will house Daisy’s receiving, assembly, packing, warehousing and shipping functions. The facility is owned by Rescue Heroes, which is a partnership between Chris Crossland of Crossland Construction and John Lawrence of Lawrence Development Group. The new facility will continue to be home to Daisy’s corporate headquarters, currently employing 25 people.

Daisy plans to begin full production at the Rogers facility by early August 2007. In 1958, Daisy relocated to Rogers from Plymouth, Mich. It was the first major catalyst for growth in Rogers.
