The editors of Expansion Management continued their tradition of editorial excellence, taking home nine awards, including Gold Awards for Best Trade Publication (EM), Best Newsletter (Inside E.D.) and Public Service Project (2006 Military Communities of Excellence magazine), at the Kansas City Press Club’s annual Heart of America awards dinner on June 9.
The magazine won the following awards:
Trade Publication (Gold Award) — Staff of Expansion Management
Newsletter (Gold Award) — Staff of Expansion Management for its monthly newsletter, "Inside E.D."
Public Service Project (Gold Award) — Staff of Expansion Management for "2006 Military Communities of Excellence" special supplement magazine
General Reporting (Silver Award) — Bill King & Michael Keating for "2006 Logistics Quotient" (Sept-Oct 2006)
Business Reporting (Bronze Award) — Ken Krizner for "Biotechnology Clusters Become Critical for the Growth of Startups" (Mar-Apr 2006)
