England OilField Services to Build Manufacturing Facility in Arkansas

ENGLAND, Ark. (May 31, 2007) — The city of England will receive a Community Development Block Grant of $1.3 million to assist with infrastructure for the new facility.

England OilField Services Inc. will build a manufacturing facility in England, Ark., creating 175 jobs with an average hourly wage of $18. The 33,000 square foot facility will be built on 10 acres in the England Industrial Park.

To assist England with infrastructure for the new facility, the city of England will receive a Community Development Block Grant of $1,337,580. The grant will fund water lines, sewer lines and road improvements for the England Industrial Park.

In addition to manufacturing field equipment for natural-gas and oil drilling, England OilField will offer steel blasting, painting, welding and electrical services to the oil industry. Companies doing business in Arkansas’s Fayetteville Shale region will be the primary customers of England OilField.

The company hopes to begin production by late 2007.
