Texas economic development officials recently announced a $5 million Texas Enterprise Fund (TEF) grant to Maxim Integrated Products as part of the state and local efforts to secure the company’s expansion to a new facility in Irving. This investment is projected to generate $200 million in capital investments and will create approximately 1,000 new jobs over the next seven years.
“The Enterprise Fund continues to be the most successful deal-closing fund in the nation, and consequently, this investment by Maxim Integrated Products will create nearly 1,000 new jobs over the next several years and will enhance Texas’ reputation as a world leader in semiconductor production,” said Texas Gov.
