Palmetto Synthetics, LLC recently announced the expansion of the company’s Kingstree, S.C., facility. Palmetto Synthetics, which has operated in Williamsburg County since its inception in 1998, will invest $2.5 million and add 40 new jobs as a result of the expansion.

Palmetto Synthetics, LLC produces high quality, specialty polyester fibers including solution-dyed fibers.

Palmetto Synthetics operates a 100,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Kingstree, with regional sales offices in Charlotte, N.C., and in the UK. The fiber produced by Palmetto Synthetics has many uses from apparel to automotive to industrial applications.
