Virtual Building Logistics to Expand Operations in North Kansas City, Missouri

Virtual Building Logistics has chosen Kansas City to expand its business, bringing $5 million in investment and 195 new jobs over the next five years paying an average salary of $48,000.

The Missouri Department of Economic Development (DED) is helping to facilitate Virtual Building Logistics’ expansion into North Kansas City. The company has filed an application to receive assistance through the Rebuilding Communities tax credit program, administered by the Missouri Department of Economic Development. This program has the ability to provide tax credits based upon 40 percent of the eligible expenditures purchases not to exceed $75,000 during one calendar year for a total of four eligibility years.

Virtual Building Logistics develops comprehensive 3-D virtual models of construction projects that enable owners, architects and contractors to complete the projects on schedule at a significantly reduced cost over standard methods. This is a real breakthrough technology for the construction industry.
