Redcats USA to Receive $1.8 Million Tax Abatement to Expand Facility in Indianapolis, Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (April 5, 2007) — The Indiana Economic Development Corp. provided the company up to $550,000 in tax credits and $200,000 in training grants, while the city of Indianapolis provided the company with property tax abatement worth $1.8 million.

Redcats USA, an international home shopping leader, announced today that it will expand its operations in Indianapolis, Ind. The company plans to upgrade its 750,000 square foot Indianapolis facility that is home to its order-processing center, IT, finance, and human resources operations.

Currently, Redcats USA employs approximately 5,000 people in the United States, 1,000 of those in Central Indiana.

The Indiana Economic Development Corp. provided the company up to $550,000 in tax credits and $200,000 in training grants, while the City of Indianapolis provided the company with property tax abatement worth $1.8 million.

Redcats USA, a division of the French home shopping giant Redcats Group, has a presence nationwide with facilities located in Indiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Kansas, Texas and in the fashion district of New York City.
