FEV Engine Technology Inc. will invest $4.3 million to expand its operations in Auburn Hills and create 180 new jobs.

The Michigan EDC approved a Single Business Tax credit valued at $1.1 million over seven years. The city of Auburn Hills has proposed a 12-year tax abatement valued at $288,000 to support the project.

“In 1988, FEV made a strategic decision to locate its North American operations in Michigan,” FEV's Vice President of Operations and Communications Robert Last said. “That decision has been validated by a continuous growth curve that reflects our ability to stay lean and provide the highest possible value to our customers, as well as our ability to hire and retain high quality engineering personnel in Michigan.”
