e-Services Group International (e-SGI) announced that it is beginning a pilot program with Delta Air Lines. e-SGI will provide Delta with customer contact services, including reservations for U.S.-based customers from here.

Subject to a successful test period, the agreement has the potential for a larger partnership between the two companies, according to e-SGI, which will manage the work for Delta from its existing facilities in Montego Bay.

“We selected e-SGI based on their proven ability to deliver high quality customer service at a significant cost savings as well as their proximity to the U.S.,” said Steve Scheper, vice president of Reservations for Delta Air Lines.

Patrick Casserly, CEO of e-SGI said the company is pleased to have Delta Air Lines join its other U.S. clients who require their customer service representatives to have both superior English speaking communication skills and the ability to resolve complex customer issues.

e-SGI has evolved from a successful data entry operation to one of the largest English language near-shore call center and back-office processing solutions company.

With Jamaica operations in Montego Bay and Kingston, and future plans for St. Lucia, e-SGI currently processes more 30 million transactions annually for a growing list of major U.S. and international clients from state-of-the-art contact centers.
