Engineered Conductive Technologies to Move Into Vacant Manufacturing Facility in Logansport, Indiana

LOGANSPORT, Ind. (December 11, 2006) — The company’s largest customer will be Spartan Motors, the second largest manufacturer of custom fire trucks in the nation.

Engineered Conductive Technologies, (EC Tech) announced in November that it will lease space in the old Precision Cable Assemblies building in Logansport, Ind., to manufacture harnesses for large vehicles. PCA once used the building to assemble wiring harness for the automotive industry.

EC Tech currently has 10 employees, and production is scheduled to begin in another 90 to 120 days. The company plans to expand to up to 120 employees in the next 18 months. Initially, the company’s largest customer will be Spartan Motors, the second largest manufacturer of custom fire trucks in the nation.
