KI (Krueger International, Inc.) has received $375,000 in Enterprise Development Zone tax credits for an expansion project at its Bonduel, Wis., manufacturing facility.
"The streamlining of production at Bonduel will result in enhanced quality control and accelerated delivery of products for our customers," said Beth Seymour, vice president of manufacturing at KI. "The addition of the new products positions Bonduel as a major manufacturing hub for KI."
KI manufactures innovative furniture and wall system solutions for the college and university, K-12, healthcare, government and corporate markets. It is consolidating the production of wooden tabletops at its Bonduel facility. Total project cost will approximate $1.1 million and the expansion is expected to create up to 75 jobs over the next three years.
Founded in 1941, KI is an employee-owned company. It is headquartered in Green Bay and operates sales offices and manufacturing facilities in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Asia.
