K.S. Bearings, Inc. has leased a 125,000 square foot facility in Fountain Inn, S.C, for its North American headquarters expansion. The facility, located at 800 Woodside Avenue in Fountain Inn, was previously occupied by Robert Bosch Tool Corp.'s Vermont American unit, a screwdriver manufacturer.
Forsite Development Partners retrofitted the building, including a new roof, lights, HVAC and 10,000 square feet of new office build-out. KS Bearings signed an 11-year lease, but terms of the transaction are not available.
"We are very pleased for the opportunities this new facility will provide for our business," said David Mosier, President of KS Bearings, Inc. "The customer acceptance of our products has enabled us to grow very rapidly and the new facility will give us not only the opportunity to increase our production levels and provide expanded technical support for our customers, but we will now have the capability to develop new products specifically for the needs of the North American market."
