WIWA LP, the U.S. subsidiary of Wilhelm Wagner GmbH, recently held grand opening ceremonies for its newly expanded North American Headquarters in Chesapeake, Va.

The German-based firm produces a line of high pressure, industrial coating systems designed for large industrial applications such as painting bridges, ships, and water towers.

Since first moving to Chesapeake in 2001, the company has experienced steady growth. The new 12,500 square foot location will allow WIWA to meet the increased demand for its products and services.

“Being located in Chesapeake has been ideal,” says WIWA U.S. General Manager Sandra Nelsen. “The city has a large number of foreign-owned companies, so its leaders really understand the needs of the global marketplace.”
