Danish pharmaceutical company, H. Lundbeck A/S, has announced plans to base its U.S. commercial headquarters in the Greater Philadelphia region, enabling the company to both develop and launch medications in the U.S. The new headquarters will generate 75 new jobs in the region.
Based in Copenhagen, Lundbeck is the second-largest Danish pharmaceutical company with $1.5 billion in revenue in 2005. Its key products treat depression, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and schizophrenia.
Lundbeck already has a drug research and development operation in Paramus, N.J.
