Sartori Food Corp. Receives $550,000 Development Zone Credits From Wisconsin Department of Commerce

MADISON, Wis. (November 14, 2006) — Sartori purchased the assets of Antigo Cheese Company in July 2006.

Sartori Food Corp. of Antigo, Wis., will receive $550,000 in Enterprise Development Zone Credits from the Wisconsin Department of Commerce to help facilitate the retention of 110 employees of the former Antigo Cheese Co. Sartori purchased the assets of Antigo Cheese Company in July 2006.

"The decision by Sartori Food Corporation to purchase the assets of Antigo Cheese Company will help the company meet existing demand for block and wheel cheese and is a natural extension to its product offerings," said Secretary Burke. "I applaud Sartori Food Corporation for retaining the Antigo jobs and continuing to invest in Wisconsin's work force."

Sartori is a supplier of specialized ingredients, flavors and services to the foodservice, food ingredient and specialty markets. Its emphasis is on new market product development, culinary innovation and creative solutions. Major customers include Nestle, Panera and Kraft.
