German Manufacturer to Open New Plant in Pulaski, New York

PULASKI, N.Y. (November 7, 2006) — The company is eligible to apply to Empire State Development for a capital grant of up to $400,000 to assist with the purchase and installation of new equipment.

Felix Schoeller Technical Papers, Inc, manufacturer of papers for photographic and digital imaging processes, plans to invest $4 million to purchase new converting equipment and make building improvements to its Pulaski, N.Y., facility. The project is expected to create 19 new permanent full time jobs and 77 new contract full time jobs and retain 25 permanent full time jobs and 55 contract full time jobs.

Established in 1966, Felix Schoeller Technical Papers is owned by Felix Schoeller jr GmbH of Osnabruck, Germany. The company has a total of seven locations in Germany, Canada and the U.S. and employs approximately 2,500 people. The company manufactures papers for photographic and digital imaging processes, decorative laminating papers and technical specialty papers and films.

In consideration of its commitment to New York State, Felix Schoeller Technical Papers is eligible to apply to Empire State Development for a Capital Grant of up to $400,000 to assist with the purchase and installation of new equipment.
