Empire Screen Printing to Expand Facility in Wisconsin

ONALASKA, Wis. (November 7, 2006) — The company received a $2.6 million Industrial Revenue Bond allocation from the Department of Commerce to expand its manufacturing facility.

Empire Screen Printing, Inc., of Onalaska, Wis., has received a $2.6 million Industrial Revenue Bond allocation from the Department of Commerce to expand its manufacturing facility.

Empire Screen Printing, Inc. specializes in custom screen printing and flexographic printing at its 150,000 square foot plant. The project includes the construction of a 10,200 square foot addition to the existing manufacturing facility. The project will create 28 jobs and represents a $2.6-million investment.

Empire was founded in 1960 and has grown to one of the largest screen printing companies in the United States. Its products include decals, labels, bumper stickers, magnets, point-of-purchase displays and overlays for businesses around the world. Empire's printing presses produce over 1 million decals per day. Annual sales exceed $24 million per year.
