The O’Dell Corp. recently announced that it is expanding its operations in Ware Shoals, S.C. According to John Stroud, President/CEO, the company will add over 50,000 square feet of office and warehouse space over the next two years.
The current 150,000 square foot facility serves markets in North America and Mexico.
The company will invest $2.5 million over the next two to three years and will increase its work force by approximately 50 people over the same time frame, according to Marvin Moss, Executive Director of the Laurens County Development Corporation.
Founded in 1945 by William O’Dell Sr. upon his return from World War II, O’Dell makes performance driven cleaning products. Chip O’Dell, Chief Operating Officer for the company, indicated the company will invest in new equipment to better meet its customers’ needs, stating the expansion is the result of continuing growth in its business and will position O’Dell for future growth.
