OEM Fabricators, Inc. (OEM) of Woodville, Wis., will receive a $350,000 loan and $250,000 in tax credits from the Department of Commerce to build a new plant in Neillsville.
Founded in 1986, OEM provides design, fabrication and welding services to original equipment manufacturers. The company already employs 184 workers at a 60,000-square foot facility in Woodville. It is proposing to build a 40,000-50,000 square foot facility in Neillsville.
The expansion will create capacity for large-scale, laser-cutting and forming, welding, and painting, which will allow the company to meet the strong demand for its products and services. The project represents $8.9 million in total investment and will create up to 100 jobs.
