Nestle Breaks Ground on $359 Million Manufacturing Facility in Anderson, Indiana

ANDERSON, Ind. (August 29, 2006) — The planned $359 million, 880,000 square foot factory and distribution center will produce and distribute Nesquik Ready-to-Drink and Coffee-Mate Liquid products.

Nestle USA executives recently officially break ground at the site where Nestle will open a new U.S. factory and distribution center in spring 2008.

Nestle's planned $359 million, 880,000 square foot factory and distribution center will produce and distribute Nesquik Ready-to-Drink and Coffee-Mate Liquid products.

"We're excited about coming to Anderson and beginning what will be a great partnership with the city of Anderson and the state of Indiana," said Rob Case, Nestle USA President, Beverage Division. "Nestle is committed to providing its consumers with the best-tasting, nutritionally superior beverages and this new facility will enable us to greatly expand our production and distribution capabilities and allow Nestle to better serve its consumers."

Nestle will begin accepting applications for employment in 2007.
