Flexible Technologies Opens Manufacturing Plant in Phoenix, Arizona

PHOENIX, Ariz. (July 17, 2006) — The Phoenix facility begins operations with 25 full time employees, including machine operators, warehouse personnel, and maintenance mechanics, with plans to increase the work force to 75 to 100 over the next few years.

Flexible Technologies’s Thermaflex Division has established a manufacturing operation in the City of Phoenix. The Phoenix facility begins operations with 25 full time employees, including machine operators, warehouse personnel, and maintenance mechanics, with plans to increase the work force to 75 to 100 over the next few years.

Flexible Technologies invested significant capital in this project and expects to grow its investment here through the next 10 years. The company will service customers in the eleven Western states, Alaska, Hawaii and Western Canada.

“We selected Phoenix as a manufacturing base in order to best serve our customers and continue to grow our west coast operations,” said Bo Carlay, Director of Operations for the Thermaflex Division. “We are very pleased with the welcome we have received from the state of Arizona.”
