Pershing, LLC, a BNY Securities Group Co., has selected Seminole County, Fla., as the new home for one of its operating groups. The new office will be located in 67,000 square feet in Colonial Town Park in Lake Mary and will house 414 employees by the end of 2008. Pershing will invest $8.7 million in capital to ready the new unit for operation.

The Seminole County Board of County Commissioners approved a Qualified Targeted Industry incentive award in partnership with the State of Florida to assist in bringing the new Pershing, LLC operations center to Florida.

The Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission, Seminole County Department of Economic Development and Colonial Properties worked with Pershing during the site selection process.

Pershing is a global provider of clearing and financial services outsourcing solutions to more than 1,100 institutional and retail financial organizations and independent investment advisors who collectively represent nearly 6 million individual investors. The company has 22 offices worldwide.
