Healthcare Resource Group Relocates to the Spokane, Washington Region

SPOKANE, Wash. (June 22, 2006) — The company worked closely with the Spokane Area EDC, along with the Community Colleges of Spokane on training options and available bilingual candidates.

Healthcare Resource Group (HRG) of Sandpoint, Idaho, is relocating its Post Falls, Idaho operations to the Spokane, Wash. The company will be establishing its OutPartnering Center in Spokane Valley to have greater access to a larger work force and pool of experienced candidates.

The company’s OutPartnering Center provides billing and accounts receivable management services for hospitals and medical facilities. The Center currently employs 55 and will be moving into Pinecroft Business Park in July, giving the company more room to expand.

The new space will allow the company to immediately add 50 positions for a total of 105 employees. In addition, the location provides HRG the capability to add approximately 70 more employees in the future for a total of 175.

HRG also has regional offices located in Washington and California. Since 1994, the company has grown to 230 employees, and provides complete revenue cycle and cash enhancement programs for both large and small healthcare facilities. Today, the company services more than 180 hospital and major medical group clients, and has grown 60 percent in the past three years, with annual revenues in excess of $10 million. HRG also provides temporary staffing services to hospital and medical groups throughout the western U.S.

The Spokane Area EDC has worked closely with HRG and with local organizations including WorkSource Spokane, AHANA, and the Community Colleges of Spokane on training options and available bilingual candidates.

"The [Spokane Area] EDC assisted us with a variety of relocation issues, including access to training, connecting us to local vendors and service providers, and tax incentive options," said Kristina English, CFO of Healthcare Resource Group.
