Vought Aircraft recently celebrated the grand opening of its new fuselage fabrication facility in North Charleston, S.C. The new state-of-the-art facility will provide composite fuselage sections for the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner airplane.

In addition to Vought’s fuselage fabrication plant, the new aerospace campus also will house an assembly and integration facility for Global Aeronautica LLC, a joint venture between Vought and Alenia North America.
