Affiliated Computer Service Inc. (ACS) will open its new call center in San Antonio with 600 new jobs. ACS has an existing presence in San Antonio but will house its first call center by providing technical support services to Spanish speaking customers of a national wireless carrier.
ACS, which will occupy 30,000 square feet of building space, plans to be ready with the new site and begin taking calls by July 24.
Meanwhile, Harris Connect, a publishing firm for educational institutions, associations and other organizations, is also locating a facility in San Antonio. The company provides information and research services through directories, data research and Internet services.
Harris Connect plans to employ over 250 people at the new center in San Antonio on 33,500 square feet in the Chisholm Building located in Northwest San Antonio.
