AdvancePost, Inc., headquartered in Tampa, Fla., provides business mailing service technology to corporate customers across the nation. It is one of only a select few mail presort companies approved by the General Services Administration (GSA) to process mail for many of the Federal Government agencies.
Ed Klaameyer, president of AdvancePost, said the company had explored options for a facilityin the I-75 corridor between Atlanta and Macon, the surrounding area and even a site in Alabama.
“From a transportation logistics point of view, it just made good economic sense to locate here,” said Klaameyer. “This strategic location will cut transport time for processed mail to major U.S. Postal Service Business Mail Entry Units across the country.”
