Kimberly-Clark recently broke ground on a new expansion that represents a multi-million-dollar investment and will create 150 new jobs at its Beech Island facility in Aiken County, S.C.
Kimberly-Clark is adding a new state-of-the-art tissue machine and expanding associated packaging lines, which will go online in 2007 and support the growth of the company’s North America consumer tissue business.
Kimberly-Clark opened its Beech Island plant in 1968. The facility produces family care products that include tissue, paper towels and wet wipes as well as a number of infant and child care products.
