The Datamyne Inc. recently announced that it has located its headquarters operations in Miami-Dade, Fla. Originally based in Uruguay and Argentina, Datamyne is a leading import-export database and trade software company that provides services to companies involved in foreign trade.
“Miami-Dade’s location at the heart of the Western Hemisphere made it the ideal location for us to base our North American operations,” said Stuart Bell, CEO, The Datamyne. “The qualified, multicultural workforce Miami-Dade offers and its status as a hub for international commerce combined to create an exciting opportunity for our company to open an office close to core customers while also expanding into the North American markets.”
The company has already hired 25 full-time employees and occupies 5,600 square feet of office space in an Enterprise/Empowerment Zone near Miami International Airport.
The Beacon Council assisted The Datamyne with State and local incentives, Enterprise and Empowerment Zones information, research and marketing analysis, business contacts and referrals, and general community information.
