Littler Global, a transnational corporate migration law firm providing employment law and international migration solutions for global companies around the world, recently announced the grand opening of its Shanghai office. The firm’s Shanghai presence makes it the largest employment and labor law firm providing immigration services in China.

“Currently, companies doing business in China have limited flexibility when it comes to Chinese immigration and related employment issues,” said Belkis Cervantes Muldoon, director of global resources for Littler Global. “Our goal is to help facilitate and streamline these processes so our clients can meet rigorous relocation timeframes, while ensuring legal compliance in a rapidly changing global economy.”

Located at The Center in downtown Shanghai, Littler Global’s new high-tech office, complete with global video conference capabilities, will service the needs of clients anywhere in the world looking to do business in China. From labor documentation management to cross-border employment issues, Littler Global’s extensive experience, multiple language capabilities and cross-cultural skills will provide immigration expertise tailored to the needs of each client.

“Immigration law is an evolving field in Asia,” added Bonnie Gibson, managing director of cross border employment at Littler Global. “With the addition of this office, we are well-positioned to influence legislation, and help our clients adapt to changes in migration policy in real time.”

The new Littler Global office will be managed by China Head and Manager Becky Xia, whose focus is employment-based immigration and investor visas, based on her extensive government and law firm experience with Chinese immigration requirements and processes.
