Warren Industries to Develop Manufacturing Facility in Ontario

Warren Industries announced today it will invest in a new 85,000 square foot facility in London, Ontario. A Canada-based automotive company, Warren Industries manufactures stamped and welded assemblies for the North American automotive market.

In making the announcement Ian Higgins, chief financial officer of Warren, said the company chose London because of the business opportunities available in the city and the access to a highly skilled work force.

“We did a great deal of research before deciding on London as the site of our new facility,” he said. “When we met with John Kime and his associates at LEDC (London Economic Development Corp.), we were immediately impressed with how receptive and forward thinking the city was in their approach to economic development. As a world class supplier to the automotive sector, we believe the infrastructure, vision and skilled work force present in London will allow us meet the challenges of the future.”

Warren has entered into an agreement with the City of London to purchase 15.8 acres in Forest City Industrial Park. Construction on the facility will begin later this year, with the facility in production by the end of the year. The company will employ 80 people.
