Bartell Machinery System to Expand Manufacturing Facility in Upstate New York

LEE, N.Y. (March 3, 2006) — The company is eligible to apply for a Capital Grant of up to $400,000 to be used toward construction of the new addition.

Bartell Machinery Systems, LLC, manufacturer of custom machinery, plans to construct a 27,355 square foot addition to its plant in Lee, New York. The project is expected to create 15 new, full-time permanent jobs and retain 130 full-time permanent jobs.

Bartell Machinery Systems, LLC is a manufacturer of custom machinery for a variety of industries including tire, wire, cable, power, as well as oil and gas exploration. Established over 50 years ago, the business has customers located throughout the world.

“The exceptional teamwork between the owners of Bartell, Bartell’s associates, and state and local agencies above, will deliver significant benefits to the local community for many years to come,” said Jerry Eisenhart, President, Bartell Machinery Systems LLC.

In consideration of its commitment to New York State, Bartell Machinery Systems, LLC is eligible to apply to Empire State Development for a Capital Grant of up to $400,000 to be used toward construction of the new addition.
