Lenox to Relocate and Consolidate Operations in Pennsylvania

BRISTOL, Pa. (January 24, 2006) — The company will receive a financial package that includes a $600,000 Opportunity Grant, $250,000 in Customized Job Training funds and $495,000 in Job Creation Tax Credits.

Lenox Inc. recently announced that it would relocate and consolidate its New Jersey and Pennsylvania corporate operations to Bristol Borough, Pa..

A subsidiary of Lenox Group Inc., Lenox will move and consolidate its corporate operations from sites in Lawrenceville, N.J., and Langhorne, Penn., to the Island View Crossing office complex in Bristol. The company will be the anchor tenant at the former Dial Soap factory, which was redeveloped for office use as part of a Bristol revitalization plan. Lenox will lease 126,000 square feet of office space and plans to occupy the site by May 1.

“The process that led to our decision to move to Bristol was truly a team effort,” said Susan Engel, chairwoman and chief executive officer of Lenox Group Inc. “We worked closely with the Governor’s Action Team, the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business & Industry, the Bucks County Redevelopment Authority, the Bucks County Economic Development Corp., the Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce and Preferred Realty to put together a deal that was a win-win for all concerned.”

The Governor’s Action Team is comprised of economic-development professionals who report directly to Governor Rendell. With the help of the Bucks County Economic Development Corp., the Department of Community and Economic Development and GAT offered Lenox a financial package that includes a $600,000 Opportunity Grant, $250,000 in Customized Job Training funds and $495,000 in Job Creation Tax Credits. The total cost of the project is more than $3.13 million.
