Sabó USA recently announced that it will open a manufacturing facility in Lincoln County, N.C., creating 81 jobs and investing $10 million during the next three years. The company is a subsidiary of Sabó, a leader in the development of sealing and fluid transfer technology. The company has manufacturing locations in Brazil, Argentina, Germany, Austria and Hungary.
"County and state officials demonstrated that a large, qualified workforce was readily available in North Carolina and also offered us incentives for additional training," said R. Panico Peres, vice president of Sabó USA Inc. "This type of commitment is very important to our company."
The One North Carolina Fund assists the state in recruiting and expanding quality jobs by providing financial assistance to businesses or industries deemed by the Governor to be vital to a healthy and growing state economy. Through the use of this Fund, more than 17,000 jobs and $2 billion in investment have been created since 2001.
