Virginia successfully competed against Pennsylvania for the project.

In addition, Diversified provides electronic mailroom processing, automated forms and healthcare claims processing, and archival records storage.

Diversified services Fortune 500 companies in the financial services, healthcare, utilities, legal and government industries. The company has 20 nationwide locations and four international locations, employing 2,000 worldwide.

“We are very pleased to be coming to Orange County and greatly appreciate the assistance and cooperation of the Commonwealth of Virginia, the County of Orange and the Thomas Jefferson Partnership in making this happen,” commented Clifford K. Melberger, Chairman and CEO of Diversified. “This facility will serve an area of 250 miles in radius from the Gordonsville site and provide the latest in document management, data capture, disaster recovery and business continuity for industry and all levels of government.”

The Virginia Economic Development Partnership worked with Orange County and the Thomas Jefferson Partnership to secure the project for Virginia. Gov. Warner approved a $250,000 grant from the Governor’s Opportunity Fund to assist Orange County with the project.

The Virginia Department of Business Assistance also will support the project with training assistance through its Workforce Services Jobs Investment Program.
